Counselling in Glasgow: Qualifications and Experience

When you go and see any counsellor, you need to know that the person you choose is professional, sensitive and capable. These are the qualities I try to offer my clients.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Strathclyde. My accredited membership of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and of Person-Centred Therapy Scotland assures you of ethical, accountable and professional service of the highest standard.

I'm also registered with the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP).

Wide experience in various contexts

Since 2003, I've used — and continue to use — my counselling and teaching skills in a variety of settings:

  • Private practice, seeing individuals and couples referred by other professionals or self-referred;
  • Counselling within an NHS Community Health Partnership;
  • Group work with clients;
  • Counselling people with workplace issues with an Employee Assistance company;
  • Teaching and training other health professionals.

What's bothering you?

The experiences above have given me a particular interest in working with people dealing with the kinds of difficulties arising from:

  • Relationships
  • Addictions
  • Depression
  • Employment issues
  • Loneliness
  • Bereavement
  • Major life changes
  • Abuse
  • Sexuality

If you think any of these issues is affecting or worrying you, it might be helpful to talk it over. Do give me a call: 07790 572099
or email: steven@stevendalycounselling.co.uk
to have a preliminary chat without any obligation. It could make all the difference.
